spotted in the tree outside my office window: a flock of cedar waxwings, and two very miserable looking robins. it's 34˚F outside right now...
jason kottke's entry "The Matrix Revolutions" has, among its 343 (and counting) comments, two consecutive comments by people with names that i know. the odd part is that i know neither of the people that made those entries. they just happen to have the same names of two acquaintances of mine, and their comments are right next to each other.
"The consecration of Gene Robison as bishop of the New Hampshire Diocese of the Episcopal Church is an affront to Christians everywhere. I am just thankful that the church's founder, Henry VIII, and his wife Catherine of Aragon, and his wife Anne Boleyn, and his wife Jane Seymour, and his wife Anne of Cleves, and his wife Katherine Howard, and his wife Catherine Parr are no longer here to suffer through this assault on traditional Christian marriage."
